I am a pain in the neck. I admit it. I own it. I have a way I like things to be. My way. đ It even applies when I go on vacation. đ I decided that this year I was going to rent a house in Hilton Head for two weeks instead of a condo. I told my husband. He said, as he should, âdo what you wantâ. So I did. I looked around, looked some more and decided on 10 Canvasback. The reviews were all glowing. Being Italian and from New Jersey, I said to myself, this is too good to be true but you can only get me once so I figured we would go for it. It was the best decision I could have made. I contacted Toba and Andy and started the process of me asking 7 million questions. I liked them immediately. It was our first time renting a house but she took care of everything. She answered every question, she made me feel comfortable and it was easy, way easier than I thought it would be. So we arrive. The pictures did not lie. The house was as nice as it looked. Trust me, I went thru that house with a fine tooth comb. I couldnât find anything to complain about, my husband passed out. LOL It was clean, I needed NOTHING. The kitchen was stocked, the towels were stocked, there were beach chairs, coolers, umbrellas, utensils, serving spoons, platters, anything I could have wanted was there. Iâm a clean freak, especially when it comes to bbqâs. They have to be spotless for me to cook on them. This one was spotless. The pool area was so relaxing and we spent a lot of time on the screened in porch. The bed was even comfortable!! No hole in the middle, no sinking to the floor. Amazing! Seriously, this is the place to rent. It never felt like a rental, it felt like we were staying at our friendâs house. Toba and Andy are right there, getting in touch with us, asking if things were good, if we needed anything. I couldnât have been happier with our choice. This was our fourth vacation in Hilton Head. e will be back, definitely will be back and will definitely be staying at Tobaâs and Andyâs house again.

This home has everything we needed for a memorable week long family vacation with small children. There was more than enough room for 4 adults, 2 children, and a large dog. We used the heated pool everyday and loved riding bicycles on the beach. Having the bikes already at the house was so convenient. The beach is just a 5 minute walk away and is preaceful and clean. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked. There were pool toys, a highchair, crib and pack 'n play. Toba was so gracious in providing all that we needed. She will do whatever she can to help you enjoy their lovely home. We highly recommend this rental home!

There were 3 couples, a toddler, and a dog on our vacation. Each couple had plenty of space and private bathrooms. The house is very clean and just a short walk from the beach. Toba is wonderful to work with and has provided everything you might need for a wonderful vacation. We can't wait to return next year!

My sisters and I had a wonderful week at this spacious, beautifully appointed home. The location in Sea Pines was very convenient, and it was great to explore the area with the bikes on the many lush paths. We enjoyed the large screened in porch and lovely pool. Toba and Andy have created a warm, welcoming, comfortable home for visitors to this slice of paradise. Great week!

Our trip was wonderful! We had 6 adults, 2 young children, and a dog. Toba and Andy make packing super easy because they provided a high chair, pack n play, toys, and beach towels, chairs, etc. The beach is a short walk and the house is located near many great bike trails and restaurants. Toba and Andy go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need to have a great trip! Unbelievably kind and welcoming. We would highly recommend this home for a great vacation at HHI!

My entire family (great grandmother to 7 month old granddaughter) enjoyed this prime location in sea pines. The home had easy access to beach path, and the amenities were superior. Toba was a pleasure to work with, providing everything we needed for the baby (crib, bath tub , pack and play etc). We have never stayed at a place that provided so many extras, such as bikes, beach gear etc. The kitchen was so well stocked, that having 7 guests never presented a problem. The pool and many seating areas were so comfortable. We highly recommend this location for a wonderful week at our favorite island.

This is truly a beautiful vacation home! Toba does everything possible to make it feel like a home away from away. She goes out of her way to provide everything you would need and is always so accessible for any need or question. Everything is just as the website says it is. The best equipped rental we ever stayed in! We all (3 generations) had a fantastic time!!

We have lost track of how many times we have rented #10 Canvasback thru the years! The owners are great to deal with! The house is ideally located - close to the beach and short, easy bike rides to just about anywhere. The house is comfortable and well appointed with all you need for a great stay in Sea Pines and HHI. It is easy, easy, easy to get out of bed for the short walk to watch some of the most magnificent sunrises you will never forget - dolphins are often swimming just off the shore as the sun comes up! If you need to find your inner child - this location is perfect for riding bikes on the beach at low tide. With it's own swimming pool, you can step right out the back door for some rays and a cooling dip. This is one of those special places that can leave you conflicted..... do I keep this gem to myself or shout it from the roof? It is SUCH a great place to stay for all you want to see and do in the area! Thanks, Toba, for always making our experience in your home so great!

We (three generations) just experienced a wonderful week of great family times at #10 Canvasback! The house is fully equipped for toddlers thru grandparents both inside and out. The beach is such a short walk away that we could spend time there in the morning, home for lunch and naps, then return to the sand & surf for more fun. We were able to enjoy cooking many meals at home as the kitchen is very well furnished. It is easy to communicate with Toba. She wants you to have a great vacation at her house!

Our family stayed at the Barth's house 6 years ago when our grandchildren were 7 and 3. While discussing another visit to Hilton Head, our granddaughter, now 13 asked if we could stay at the same house. It was available, so we did. There are so many extras provided like bikes, beach cart, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels. The house is very clean with lovely décor. It is so nice to take the short walk to the beach and the children did so on their own occasionally. We also brought our dog and dog gates were provided so we could confine her to specific areas if we desired. We enjoyed the screened-in porch and the pool everyday. Even though we were there for the 4th of July, this area is quiet without traffic. Wonderful memories for all!

Our family has been visiting HH annually for 20+ years and this vacation experience has been (by far), the most memorable and accomodating one to date. From the moment we inquired about the home Toba (owner) was responsive, informative and very attentive to everything about our stay. Exceptional communication beginning with our first inquiry in March all the way to a week after our return. Upon our first steps through the doorway we could easily tell it was far more than a rental house. We absolutely felt like we were welcomed into a family's 'home.' Toba has a 3 ring binder which is more comprehensive than a concierge. If we wanted information about anything - directions around the island, their favorite places (and dishes) to eat, nuances and features about the home as well as owner's manuals on every appliance - all we needed to do was consult the concierge/binder! If we had an odd question Toba was accessible by text or phone. By Monday of our vacation were already talking about renting the home for next year. Everything about the entire experience was pleasant, helpful and streamlined. We can't wait to come back next year!

This was our second time staying. It was so nice packing knowing how many things I could leave home because the house is just so well equipped; for the beach, the pool, the kitchen, and the entire house. All three generations enjoyed the home. Toba is so accessible and accommodating, she goes above and beyond to make sure you feel at home. You can trust the pictures and descriptions, everything is exactly as stated. We are looking forward to our stay next year!! Thank you Toba and Andy!!
